Information Literacy: Week 01 assignment instructions Thank you for downloading and reading this attachment. Please follow the instructions below to complete the assignment. First, find an image that you think is interesting or funny. You can use Internet search to find an image online or choose one of your own photos. Next, create a reply to the e-mail message that you received. In your reply, be sure to pay careful attention to each of the following points: 1. Make sure the subject line of the message is correct. 2. Use a proper formal greeting, including the name of the person who will receive your reply. 3. Explain briefly the purpose of your reply. One sentence is enough. 4. If the original message that you received contained a question, answer that question in your reply. Use the "inline quotation" style of reply: after your opening lines, quote just the original question, on line by itself. Then type your answer to the question immediately underneath it. 5. Attach your chosen image to the e-mail. 6. Write a short closing remark. For example you could thank the recipient for looking at your image, or tell them that you hope they like the image, and so on. As long as it is relevant, any kind of similar remark is appropriate and correct. 7. Sign the message with your name. 8. Include a short "signature block" underneath your name. In the signature block, indicate your professional status (e.g., "Undergraduate student") and affiliation (e.g., "Engineering Department, KUAS"). Finally, double-check that all parts of your message are correct and then send it. If you properly respond to all eight of the points above then you will achieve a perfect score for this assignment. Do your best!
